Remarks :
We discovered Bronchocela nicobarica from Little Nicobar Island. This species is allied to the Gret Nicobar Island species, Bronchocela danieli. Five species of forest dwelling Bronchocela are now known from Nicobar Archipelago.

Etymology:
The specific epithet is a toponym, in feminine gender, referring to the distribution (Nicobar Islands) of the species.
